One year following the Resurgence, a portal had opened in the city of Mizorael that was quickly conquered by members of the Mizorael noble family. Following this, the city of Mizorael experienced a technological renaissance. The city was quickly advancing, far exceeding many of it’s neighbors in such a short period of time. Mizorael became the center of trade, and many flocked to the city to study the new technologies and magics being developed their.

However, 5 years prior to the current day, Mizorael experieced a catastropic event that led to the complete destruction of the city with very few survivors. Survivor reports indicate the city was engulfed with a bright light that enveloped the whole city that reached the outer walls. What was left was nothing but rubble.

Now referred to as the Necrohol of Mizorael, many undead and mutated creatures roam the city remains as well as the outlying area. Those who were able to venture into the land were able to discover the epicenter of the event was located in the royal palace. Additionally, a vast network of catacombs were discovered underneath the city in which powerful artifacts and leftover technologies from Mizorael’s peak can be discovered.
